Friday Funny - Road Trip

It's Friday and while I'm thrilled to have a few days of not having to get up before the sun, this week wasn't one of the best. So instead of my usual "Fractional Friday" I'm providing you with a "Friday Funny."

While driving down the road listening to blue collar comedy on the radio Jeff Foxworthy comes on and is telling a story about his daughter.

She comes to him and his wife one day and asks:
"Is wrestling considered SEX?"

They chuckle and respond with:
"well honey that depends on how hard you wrestle."
*nudge nudge wink wink*
"Why?"

It's at this point the hubs and I giggle at the reference when from the back seat we suddenly hear a voice pipe in
"I don't get whats so funny?"

OH CRAP - DQ was listening...wasn't she just asleep????

Have you recently had an "oh crap" moment?

No "oh crap" moments here, as I don't have kids (although I'm sure if I DID have kids, there would be MOUNTAINS of those moments!!), but I wanted to stop by to say that I love the new blog look. Very fresh and fun!

IT seems like there have been a LOT of oh crap moments in my life, since I have so many kids. How about on the fist day of kindergarten Eli telling the teacher, "My dad is on drugas and he killed my cat." Nice.

Oh man... those little ears are always listening!!

Whenever we would say stuff like "I don't get it" my mom would say "I'll explain when you're older." And that was good enough.

Oh no.... lol! It is totally selective hearing, no?

What is really funny is that....when The Princess busted in on us in a compromising positon one night (she was 3ish)...she questioned just what was going on. Her daddy responded that we were wrestling....and even did a 1,2,3 count to bring the point home! :)

Talk about OH CRAP!

Thank goodness the lights were off!

Brendan came into our room one night when were, uh... busy, so to speak, and he didn't even notice. He just sat down on the floor by the foot of the bed and started watching TV. Turns out he was sleepwalking which he does occasionally. He never mentioned it and neither did we.

I remember being about 6 or 7 and hearing Valerie Bertinelli's character on One Day at a Time complaining about being a virgin and asking my mom what that was. She told me to look it up so I did and I still didn't really get what all the fuss was about. : )

Kel, I looooooove the new look! Very nice.

Haha.

She was pretending to sleep. Just like you pretend to wrestle. It's only fair ya know.

Haha.
